Future Cell's timeline

How much into the future is future Cell's timeline? Trunks stated the then-mysterious time machine came from three years further in the future compared to when he left... and then Cell spent 4 years maturing on Earth's land. So, is the future Cell's timeline 7 years in the future compared to Mirai Trunks' (and therefore 27 years compared to the main timeline)? Correct me if I am wrong.

Because I think the 4 years that Cell spent maturing should have equally passed in the future Cell's timeline as well. So, if Cell's timeline was 3 years ahead that of Trunks at the moment Cell killed Trunks (which was 4 years before), then it should be 7 years in the future now, 4 years after Cell killing Trunks.

It's unconfirmed whether he spent 8 months or 3 years. His time machine took 3 years to have enough fuel for another trip when he set it off to tell the Z warriors he succeeded in defeating the androids.

But that still doesn't mean that 4 years in the present doesn't equal 4 years in the future, it at most means he was using his time machine so he wouldn't have to wait the time the Z warriors did, no?
