I don't see it like that & I believe KidBuu is the strongest Buu & that line

I see as nothing but fan interrupting that as the strongest Buu from a boastful character.
Super Buu (w/ Gotenks and Piccolo absorbed) & Super Buu (w/ Gohan absorbed) at that point became extremely arrogant & full of himself.
He also said even if Vegeta & Goku fuse he would beat the resulting fusion.

If it wasn't fan interruption then the entire KidBuu debate, discussion, conversation wouldn't exist anywhere on any forum around the entire web.

Actually if everything in the DragonBall Universe was as cut & dry as fans think then DragonBall Z would not be as heavily brought up as it has been till this day.

It is all how fans interrupt it & KidBuu being the strongest Buu is my interruption.

2. Buu doesn't know Vegetto is a possibility so he was referring to ANY possible fusion result.

Nearly every character boasts about their own power being greater then whomever they're facing even when it's a first time encounter.

Vegeta never faced PerfectCell before & assumed he could beat PerfectCell.

SuperSaiyan 3 Goku assumed he could beat KidBuu & he could not without a super spirit ball.

Vegeta claimed he could defeat Android18 & he could not.

Dr Gero assumed he could beat SuperSaiyan Vegeta & could not.

Anime/manga is full of arrogant boastful characters, every statement made by them isn't 100% fact.

2. Yes he only knew of one fusion type but he saw the Potara Earrings, before Vegeta appeared he saw Goku attempt some new fusion type.

So If you believe Super Buu (w/ Gohan absorbed) said he is stronger then any resulting fusion between Goku/Vegeta covering any fusion type possibilities.

Then you can never argue a Buu saga SuperSaiyan Gogeta is stronger then SuperSaiyan Vegetto.
