Related to something I just posted on F, I wanted to start a discussion on it. Is it possible that Gohan lost full control of his "mastery" of Super Saiyan? I say this due to the fact that only Gohan seemed to lose energy from the fight with Dabra, even though the battle was rather even. Gohan required a senzu later on, but Dabra was just fine. Perhaps Gohan lost full control of Super Saiyan causing him to wear down faster?

He seemed to have good control of it against Goten and those bank robbers, so I think not. Perhaps Dabra just has better stamina courtesy of being a Majin.

Not a bad explanation for Dabra, but you can counter the prior by saying SSJ is not very strenuous unless in combat - like goku wasn't losing energy while fighting Freeza, or Vegeta wasn't losing energy when hunting down Gero.

Yea as of now, I just go with Gohan being a Super Saiyan 2. The major stamina loss seems to make sense if that's the case. Majority of the story seems to make sense if that's the case...

Not so much stamina loss, it's the fact that he easily held back enough to avoid pounding those robbers to high hell and has relaxed eyes sparring with Goten. Goku lost stamina against Cell anyway, so you still spend ki while fighting in Fpssj.

Agreed, fighting all out at FPSSJ doesn't really conserve shit. Going all out is always going to cause a lot of ki loss.

Plus Gohan fought sloppily as fuck, falling for that afterimage and getting straight up blasted and then struggling to break dabura's sword.

Agreed on the rest, but the sword is a pretty good feat if you ask me. All momentum is with Dabra, Gohan catches it and crushes it.
