@PapasmurfI think Majuub wins. Baby was at least able to amuse himself by holding back against base Oob and Majuub was able to make him struggle at least a little bit, and I think SBV2 = SSJ2 S17 arc Vegeta. This Vegeta should be leagues above Gohan. Though, Gohan also seems to be stronger considering he isn't far below base Rild in his own base form. I just don't think he's caught up to Majuub just yet
Which of the two options do you think is correct?I think they're either just listing the Saiyan warriors (not the first time a guidebook statement conflicts with the source material or uses weird benchmarks for comparison, gets established power chains wrong like Daimao > Kami); or Gohan might have gotten a rage boost, if you really want to use the wording of that statement. Logically since base S17 arc Gohan < base Rild, and base Rild is weaker than Baby arc base Goku who's weaker than Majoob at SSJ3, there's no way SSJ2 Gohan without rage is above Majoob.
Alternatively, there's also the option of saying Rild trained in Hell, so he's now >> base Baby arc Goku. Whichever one you prefer.
To give Mu and Gero some credit, I don't think they expected Hell Freeza and Cell to be able to defeat Goku after he was trapped in Hell, given that Mu didn't say anything about SSJ Goku surpassing expectations. They probably just thought Goku would be stuck in Hell since Piccolo resigning himself to damnation in Hell to help Goku would be totally unexpected. So you can have post-Hell Rild >>> Cell and Freeza without issues, if you want to go the route of Gohan > Majoob. I personally think Majoob is still stronger though since he tends to be given a slightly bigger role than GT Gohan who's just a power battery for Goku and Baby more or less.Which of the two options do you think is correct?
It's really hard to believe that Rildo has become so strong in Hell and that he is inferior to Frieza and Cell.
You're right, so I won't give importance to what the Guide says, nor to everyone being impressed that his Kamehameha didn't hurt Super #17, even though everyone saw that neither Base Vegeta's nor Majuub's punches hurt Super #17.To give Mu and Gero some credit, I don't think they expected Hell Freeza and Cell to be able to defeat Goku after he was trapped in Hell, given that Mu didn't say anything about SSJ Goku surpassing expectations. Anyway Pan escaped from Rildo and made no comment.Yeah that's probably best. S17 arc is a giant mess with power chains all over the place, but you can at least justify stuff like SSJ Goku > SSJ2 Vegeta >> SSJ2 Gohan with explanations like Goku's base level continually rising due to unlocking SSJ4 which gave him his max potential, and Vegeta either keeping the Ki Baby left in his body or also powering up due to his body experiencing Golden Oozaru. If Rild was intended to be far stronger than he was in the Baby arc it probably would've been noted, like how Vegeta noted Hell Fighter #17 was ridiculously above the normal #17. Though there's the issue of Gohan never having fought Rild before unlike Goku and Pan and thus having no baseline to go off of. But then there's Cell and Freeza acting like they got way stronger in Hell, so yeah Rild powering up probably wasn't the Toei writers' intention.
Yes, except Majuub.Do you have HF17 >> all other Z senshi?
Do you think Majuub > Vegeta Base > Gohan (Kamehameha) > Gohan Base?I guess that makes sense if you think everyone was just having a "big blast gets fired and everyone wonders if it worked before the enemy shows up unscathed" PIS moment when Gohan fired his Kamehameha
