After getting stomped by 2nd Freeza, how strong do you have Gohan?

Vegeta's reactions towards post zenkai Gohan seemed greater more optimistic than his reactions towards enraged pre zenkai Gohan, so I have him decently above that.

You could counter by saying Vegeta was counting on him to get enraged again.

While you could say Vegeta might've been thinking about Gohan's latent power, it looks like the emphasis is on Gohan's power increase after healing.

I agree. I've even argued that Gohan wasn't even using his enraged power when he blasted 3rd form Freeza. He had clear memory of using the power there, and even said "I used up all my power", so I think he could be pushing 1 million quite easily.

Let's discuss Gohan being enraged here...Doesn't he appear enraged there while powering up? Or is it just me? He seems pretty damn pissed off.

Well, why wouldn't he be enraged. He just woke up from being basically dead, and he's blaring his aura out and making angry poopy face. Me thinks he is enraged.

But that has issues too doesn't it? How come he's so weak enraged compared to later on? Ah what a mess.

Vegeta said Gohan's powers increased a lot compared to what was before, which seems a little out of hand if Gohan were enranged there. Also, if Gohan were enranged at that moment, then his new enranged power would be barely above his old enranged power?

I also assume Gohan was in rage mode vs 3rd form Freeza due to the way his Masenko pushed this latter, while it was implied Piccolo was the only one who could save them from 2nd form Freeza.

On topic, I think he surpassed Vegeta as this latter considered their luck was increasing after seeing Gohan's new powers, but still decently below the level Freeza was at, considering Vegeta defined the new situation as "just a little better". Approaching 1,000,000 seems right to me.

Gohan was most likely enraged, but unlike against 2nd Form Freeza, he wasn't berserk. After Freeza dodged him, he was mindful enough to fly above him and unleash a Full-Power blast on him. There's also what he said to Piccolo right after he was complimented on his power. If you look at Gohan after Dende is killed by Freeza, he attacks Freeza with the same pissed off expression he had all of the other times he got enraged. It's probably a case of Freeza being so far above him that it doesn't matter at that point.

I have no problem with Gohan being close to a million after his Zenkai. Vegeta's quote wouldn't make much sense if Gohan was still weaker than 1st Form Freeza. I'd see him being no 850-900k at the very least.

Good point. How about we have different levels of rage and also include the filler scene where Gohan fights 4th Form Freeza (who had
supposedly gone back to his initial suppression after deflating his muscles)...

-semi rage (3rd Form Freeza): 1.650.000

-full rage (4th Form Freeza): 3.300.000

So what do we think here?

How does Enraged Gohan match up vs Zenkai Gohan? Vegeta says the situation has gotten a little bit better means that Gohan can put up a decent fight now or no?

Also, did 2nd Form Freeza whoop Gohan that badly or did he fall out of rage?

I think Zenkai Gohan is stronger because it makes the most sense to me. Vegeta saw how ridiculously powerful Gohan had become when he went crazy, so I don't see how he'd have any relief if Gohan's new power wasn't at least greater than that. Vegeta was ready to throw in the towel when his off-guarded attack did nothing to Freeza:

So his renewed optimism tells me Zenkai Gohan>Enraged Gohan.

One of the reasons why I liked the idea of him not being enraged against 3rd Form Freeza was because it showed his Full-Power blast was way beyond his previous enraged power. Freeza makes note of this as well. That would make Zenkai Gohan>Enraged Gohan a lot easier to prove, too.

Once Freeza got back up, you see Gohan start to get scared. When Freeza began to power-up, Gohan was shitting himself. His rage was non-existent after his attack. Freeza just beat the shit out of a scared Gohan.

I agree with the above. Freeza's power was so immense it scared him out of his rage...

So how much stronger does Freeza have to be to make that happen?

Freeza seems to choose to power up after taking a beat from enranged Gohan, implying he would have to do that in order to deal a pain worth many times over to Gohan. That means Freeza power up could pretty much defeat enranged Gohan without problems, who should be around initial 2nd form Freeza.

I'd have Zenkai Gohan at most pre Zenkai Gohan enranged level, as post Zenkai Gohan still seems a good chunk weaker than powered up 2nd form Freeza.

Gohan seemed powered up, ready to fight again. He has to be stronger. His previous self shat his pants at Freeza's power.
