Goku Against Super Boo

He always tried to avoid Super Boo as much as possible. What happened to his "I love to fight strong opponent" thing? He always wants to fight all the opponents that are stronger than him except Boo.

He was also scared to fight Nappa and Vegeta when Raditz first mentioned their power being above his. It just shows that Goku's love for battle doesn't completely override his use of common sense, regardless of what Super would suggest.

Super Boo is too weak for Goku, so much that it surprises Goku. The only one that can match Goku's overwhelming power is Pure Boo, that's why he made Boo transform in the first place

He also avoided fighting Imperfect cell and later Semi cell when he used IT to save piccolo and Ten

Well he planned to fight Cell once he finished his training in the ROSAT therefore he planned to fight Cell one on one. But when it comes to Boo, he really doesn't have a choice but to fuse with Vegeta. Also I think it has something to do with Boo in general, Boo is so dangerous that he'll destroy everything before Goku can do anything.

Goku enjoys fighting strong opponents when he has a reasonable chance of winning.

Goku was more balanced with the rest of the cast in a lot of times throughout DBZ, it wasn't like dragonball, GT, or Super where Goku was more often on a whole other level apart from everyone else and more daring.
