Yes, I know a post like this was posted less than a week ago, but they didn't bring up something that's very important.
Basic math.
Base Goku and 1% Frieza were both around the same level in the Frieza Saga. When Frieza's power increases by 50 times, his power level is 60 million. However, when Goku's power only goes up by 20 times for the Kaio-Ken x20, his power is also 60 million. There are four possible explanations.
1. Frieza lied. He was actually using more than 1% of his power. This is the most common justification I've seen, and it looks good until you realize 50% Frieza was far stronger than Kaio-Ken x20 Goku, and if his power had only gone up by 20 times or so that wouldn't have been the case. He blocked Goku's strongest attack with one hand. And yes, he did strain himself a little and get a singed palm, but that's like saying that Android 18 and SSJ Vegeta were equal because 18 took clothes damage. Cell got half his body blown off by the Final Flash, but does that mean Vegeta was as strong as Cell? No! So it shouldn't apply here.
2. Frieza's power level was only 1.2 million against Goku at the start of the fight. This one is obviously bull, but if an explanation exists for anything, a DBZ fan has pulled it out of his ass, so I'll disprove it with not one, but two simple facts. First off, Goku's power level was 3 million when this happened, and he was equal to 1% Frieza. If Frieza had only been at 1.2 million, Goku would have beaten him in one hit. Second, Frieza was already "over one million" in his second form. Even if we're using Namek-saga exponential power levels and Frieza's power is only going up 10% per transformation after the second form, he still couldn't possibly be this low. He easily beat Vegeta, who was implied to be stronger than F3 Frieza, who stomped Piccolo, who beat the crap out of F2 Frieza.
3. Frieza's 1% power is around 3 million, and his 50% and 100% power levels are lower because of exponents. Okay, but then why does Kaio-Ken x20 Goku have a 20x multiplier during the same scene?
4. Frieza's 1% power is around 3 million, and the Daizenshuu is wrong about the other powers. This is the explanation I use. As I said in the first explanation, Frieza being 50x stronger than base Goku is consistent with him blocking Kaio-Ken x20 Goku's Kamehameha. If the Daizenshuu is wrong, his real power is 300 million, or 100 times his 1% form. But I can feel you saying "But the Super Saiyan multiplier is only 50 times!". In light of this evidence, I don't think it can be. This is the only time we ever get to use official PL's on a Super Saiyan, so technically there's nothing contradicting the multiplier being higher, or at least nothing that isn't already contradicted by the 50x multiplier. I'd say the multiplier might be 125 or even 150 times, considering how well Goku did against Frieza, which would leave his power level at up to 450 million.
Thoughts?
