Goku and Oob (5 years post-Z)

I forgot where I saw this topic, but I found it interesting. Ignoring GT <small><small>(and new material)</small></small>, how strong do you think Goku and Oob would be by the time of GT's start (5 years after Z)? Still weaker than Evil Boo/Gotenks/Gohan? Stronger than Evil Boo/Gotenks/Gohan? Thoughts?

Probably above SSj Gotenks (Post-RoSaT) at the minimum.

But since SSj multipliers would be higher, that would put SSj3 Goku at close to SSj Vegetto-tier IMO.

I always assumed Goku surpassed Gohan by the end of Z, but was still weaker than Gotenks Boo.

After 5 yrs of training, I see Goku being above Gohan Boo. With Oob's potential, he'd probably be not too far behind Goku.

Plot determines power, so whatever Toriyama wants them to be. Working with what "laws" the series has though, I'd say Goku would've probably hit his natural limit, so at best in between SS2 and SS3 Gotenks. As for Oob, the Daizenshuu says he could become a fighter unlike that ever seen before, so he could've potentially outstripped Goku by a long way. At his max potential, he could be above SSJ Vegetto based on that, though assuming he didn't max out just yet, I'd say at bare minimum he'd be slightly stronger than Goku.
