M12 SSJ3 Goku is a little stronger than in Buu Saga, so it depends on how much credit you give to Gotenks.

Would be hard not to give it to Goku, since he was at least front and centre in the main battle, while Gotenks had no comparable challenge. Maybe if Gotenks goes SSJ3 it'd be a fun fight, but Goku seems more amped in this era of the films compared to the normal timeline, while with Gotenks it's unclear.
