Same like you ranked it. Their 1st fight was awesome because of the psychology which is the reason why the Saiyan arc is the best IMO.

Saiyan Saga battle>>>>>>>>Everything else (Manga)

I think the Majin Vegeta battle is a lot more fun in the anime.

The stakes were much higher or seemed to be in the Saiyan-Saga and I just like the whole feel, like Vegeta is legit unkillable, l0l. Everytime they thought they had him defeated he kept getting back-up. Also I like the roles they both played in the Saiyan-Saga more.

The Saiyan arc battles were bloody and brutal. The Earth dudes won via attrition and I long for another fight like this.

Sadly doesn't seem like that'll happen. DragonBall Super seems marketed toward very very young children in a different era (don't ask me about the sex jokes, though plz). On-top of that seems more like they'll keep light-hearted as much as possible.

They don't have to be bloody, but they can still have a battle of attrition. I loved it, Vegeta was far above everyone and it took every trick up their sleeve to bring him down, and he still managed to crawl away.

That scene when Nappa ripped off Tenshinhan's arm was indeed brutal and badass as fuck.

Sadly, we are never going to see something on that level again.

Yeah, I think legit he is the villain who took the most "death" moves and ganging-up and still kept coming and was still too powerful even when greatly weakened. Even with Freeza it was mainly just the Genki-Dama and getting cut by the Kienzan.

Freeza himself was quite brutal. The difference was it was just everyone lining up to fight him one on one. It didn't turn into a shitshow brawl like the battle with Vegeta did. Freeza was still great, though. The Cell and Boo arcs have nothing like the former two.

Yeah, there's also that Freeza had his transformations which seemed to undo previous damage done to him, so his seemed less impressive. But yeah against Vegeta it was a free-for-all. That took Kaio-Ken, Kaio-Ken KHH, Genki-Dama, sneak attacks by Yajirobe and just general ganging-up and Oozaru Gohan and he was still alive by the end of all that.

The snowflakes will keep Dragon Ball as PC as possible. Don't ever expect a battle as gruesome as the Napa fight ever again.

Funny you wrote that because I thought those two fights kind of resembled each other.
