It was said that Goku, before he hit his head was quite an unruly baby, I think. If he hadn't hit his head and grew-up the way he first was, how would he have turned out?

Would he have been like Raditz?

Cruel?

Evil?

Would the what-if, grown-up version of Goku be as naive as his normal counterpart?

Would he be as fun-loving as he is?

What?

Probably somewhere between Raditz and Turles.

I think a lot of it depends on whether or not Goku would still be a savant at martial arts if he hadn't hit his head. He's basically the greatest fighter of all time. So whether or not he would retain that determines a lot for me as to what his personality would be like.

Also would his personality be as...I don't know what to call it, but basically when he's happy whenever he meets a strong opponent even when the opponent does outmatch him like Freeza. Vegeta and Nappa (same with Raditz I think) don't like fighting anyone stronger than themselves, at-least at the beginning.

Would he be proud of his Saiyan-heritage? Since most of the Saiyans we do see are proud, or would he not care.

This is the old nurture vs nature argument. I get what you are saying there.

Personally, yeah, I think a part of Goku's ability to fight and surpass his limits is natural. Some of it is due to the way he was raised by Gohan, but I have to believe some of it is just pure Goku.

I can see him still taking some joy in fighting stronger opponents. It might not be as prominent as it is in Z, but I am sure the other Saiyans would find Goku to be the oddball in the group. The one guy who just loves to get his ass kicked and keeps coming back for more.

Even in Z we see some of Goku's Saiyan pride come out from time to time, so I imagine it would be there if he hadn't bumped his head too, but more so.

Would he have been as naive as the normal grown-up Goku in the series or would he be more savvy?

I'm sure he would have been more sinister and angry. So no, I don't see the happy go lucky Goku here.

Right now, we get a happy go lucky Goku who loves to fight, and occasionally has some of his Saiyan pride come out.

In this case, I think it would be the opposite. We would get a serious Goku with lots of pride who loves to fight. And occasionally, his happy go lucky side would come out in battle.

A web comic called Multiverse covers this thought. He ended up killing everyone, but he still seemed to be with Krillin, at least for a while. That's just a theory though.

Saiyan said:
He'll probably same with Vegeta.
Vegeta was twisted in a way that stood out even among other Saiyans. It's a serious stretch to say he'd turn out like him.

He'd probably be like Piccolo before fusing with Kami.
