I think it depends on where you put Nappa and if you'd classify Guldo as a threat for his abilities or power. Guldo was struggling with Gohan and Krillin who were in the low to mid 10Ks. If you put Nappa close to Goku during the Saiyan Saga than he might take this, if you put him at the usual 4K than Guldo might take it.
