:Krillin wins. I dont see gyumao causing Jacki Chun to defend himself and such, or nearly knocking him out of bounds even with a cheap trick.

Not saying I believe this by any means, but what if Gyu-Mao is actually stronger than anyone in the 21st? It's quite likely he was trained by a much stronger Roshi, after all.

The Turtle Hermit training is just basic martial arts along with doing harsh and unusual physical labor with a turtle shell, and basic education. I doubt his training with Roshi was much more beneficial (if at all) nor do I think he has that much potential.

Anyways, I think he'll put up with a bit of fight but Krillin wins in the end for having actual feats.

Yes, but we know that Roshi at least fought (maybe sparred) with Son Gohan, so him doing the same with Gyu-Mao isn't a stretch.

Gohan was his star pupil though. Roshi never sparred with Goku or Krillin when he trained them.

Which I find odd considering that 21st Goku is implied to be stronger than the Gohan that Roshi fought, but I guess Roshi didn't know how powerful Goku really was.
