Have You Bought Any Manga?

Many filthy pirates tend to read online fanslations of DB/Z/GT/S, but have any of you actually purchased any? If so, what format did you go for?

- Digital.
- 3-in-1.
- Kazenban.
- Tankōbon.
- Full Color.
- VizBig.
- Other.

For me my personal collection is:

2x Full Color Manga (First Two of th Saiyan Arc)
1x Tankobon (Volume 12)

That might seem random, but I wanted to collect the entire series in full color so I started doing so. It's not something I'm obsessed about so I will buy something new occasionally. I'm thinking of buying 3 and all of the currently released Freeza arc in one swoop.

I bought Volume 12 of the Tankobon simply because I had spare money sitting in my Paypal and hadn't read a DB Tankobon in at least four years. Android/Cell is my favourite arc, and seeing as it'll take an eternity or two for that arc to release in color, I just bought it. Hopefully I don't buy the series twice over, but that'd be a pretty cool collection.

I don't own any of the mango myself, but my brother has the first Dragon Ball volume, the first Android saga volume, and all of the Cell Games volumes. All Viz.

Like 2003/2004. I was buying them as viz released them.

Didn't they release the last volume in 2006? I remember they used to put DBZ in their monthly SJ magazine until it moved to a bimonthly volume release after Cell in 2005 or so.

Yeah, Vol. 26 was released in 2006.

lol it was actually already in stores by June 2006 (when a lot of ppl were buying into that 6/6/06 scare for some reason). My favorite line in that volume was "gosh darn it," which they obviously put in since Viz stopped letting them curse in SJ manga (but allowed people to be exploded from the inside out)

I didn't even realize 6/6/06 was a thing. I guess I was too young and didn't care enough even if someone told me.

I had a weekly SJ subscription before I bought them back then too
