Have you ever kept up with the manga and watched the anime at the same time? Well, obviously, not in the same moment. What I'm asking is if you have ever followed the story in the manga and the anime without reading the manga first and then watching the anime.

Dozens of times, mainly with a lot of series wherein there are significant changes between both versions. Currently, I'm doing this for Planetes, since the narrative and events of the manga and anime have some fairly big differences.
