AT wasn't measuring Base Saiyans' progress over the whole Freeza-25th TB period. At that point, he didn't
know himself where Base Kids stood. But, since the plot needed a fight Eighteen vs Kids, he as well wrote
one, making it as interesting as possible for gag reasons (since that fight was meant to be a jolly touch to
the story) instead of taking a calculator and estimating which of the two sides should stomp the other.
That's why i think we should stop treating this fight as PL evidence.
