Probably no higher than a Pacifista. His best feats were taking a few hits from Base Luffy, whilst not needing any additional ES until the Red Hawk almost KO'd him.

I was talking about ES Overdose Hody there. As for no ES, he'd probably only be a medium level threat to Pre-TS Straw Hats. Probably around Zoan Jabra/Kaku or Base Lucci level at best.

I think it was 3 times total. One well before he fought Luffy, and two while fighting Luffy.

He didn't take any at the time Usopp commented on his strength. I guess he could've already amped up his base strength with them beforehand, though by the way they were treated in his introduction, it didn't seem like they didn't increase his base power until the overdose.

Him being Arlong's lackey shouldn't make him weaker than him during a later point in the series by default. By that logic Tenshinhan would've been shit to Taopaipai during the 22nd as well.

Luffy one shotted a Pacifista with a Gomu Gomu no Jet pistol... while Hody was way weaker than Luffy he was not done in one hit like the latter. He should be at least > Pacifista I'd think even more when Baby 5 and Buffalo are able to destroy one of them.

The reason I put them at comparable levels of power was how easily zoro took them both out.

But I can't remember if Hody had taken any energy steroids then or not.

Zoro also took him out under water for what it's worth, which I think he said he could only attack with half the speed/power.

Yeah he used Armament Haki, but his arms not darkened. Hody was able to take a Gomu Gomu no Jet stamp from Luffy without being knocked out.

Tbh, Luffy's Gear 2nd feats seemed somewhat inconsistent on Fishman Island. Base Hyouzou was able to withstand and counter a Jet Pistol, yet ES Overdose Hyouzou was treated as trash by Zoro, who seemed to find the Pacifista at least worth being competitive with Sanji for defeating.
