How could Android 17 receive Android 18 kick that broke Vegeta's arm?

Of course, I know that it is just a regular kick, and that he could block it, but if he decides to receive it without preparing, how would he end?

So he’s aware of it right? Because I can easily see an off guard kick shattering his arm.

I’m thinking she might break his arm if he doesn’t block it. Obviously letting a rival kick your arm full force with no defense is gonna do more than hurt just a little bit.

How much of a gap do you think it exists between them for that to happen?

Cell broke Gohan's arm with a regular ki blast when at equal powers. You can argue that ki blasts are more destructive but the point should still remain. If you take an attack from a rival while off guard it should be able to break your arm.

Gohan underestimated Cell because of how he afterwards say that Cell's power has gone up more than he thought, so he wasn't fully prepared to receive the blast and he put all of his ki into speed while not thinking that would affect his defenses and the damage was completely focused on the arm. But I can see your case, it depends on which gap is closer to which.
