How do you counter Conquerors Haki?

Besides that we don't really know too much about it besides the connection to royalty/leadership and knocking out fodder.

Maybe it's an ability you can learn to control over time, because I doubt Luffy had any control of who went down in Marineford.

Yeah, it's been shown several times to able to selectively knock people out, such as the opera house and when Luffy takes out fake luffy.

Stronger forces of will/more powerful people seem to be able to resist CoC. Marco's comment just seems to suggest if you have the capability to resist being knocked out and you're caught off guard you could still be ko'd by CoC.
