How powerful were Tenshinhan and Inoshikacho in the Filler of the 3 years of training?

Note that Goku was impressed to see the start of the match between Tenshinhan and Yamcha. Therefore Tenshinhan (Suppressed against Goku) couldn't be more powerful than Yamcha (TB22). Goku before training with Inoshikacho should be even inferior, considering that Goku acknowledged to Tanmen that there are people stronger than him (they can be Tenshinhan, Inoshikacho and Shura).

Most likely, Goku made a lot of progress by training with Inoshikacho.

Tenshinhan was likely no stronger than at the 22nd TB when his anime debut wasn't long before the Budokai and he wouldn't have benefited much from his current training regime. Goku, and by virtue Inoshikacho, wouldn't be far weaker than 22nd TB Goku's full power when considering Goku didn't seem to have long to train before the Budokai.

Goku seemed surprised by Ten gradually increasing his effort at the 22nd Budokai and it's unlikely he made much of any gains between this episode so Ten was likely holding back here, I think Goku could have made good gains though.

InoShikaCho? What does he do again?

He spars with Goku at the end of the episode in an attempt to aid in his gains for the Budokai, suggesting he's more or less on par with Goku at that point in terms of strength. He was also considered too wild and dangerous for Roshi and Tsuru to control in their youth, though it seems this was prior to their peak when considering their designs.

Apparently it was a year before TB22 because in Tenshinhan's Biography he appears 1 year younger in his debut than his TB22 self.

Goku was probably very fatigued and that's why he was defeated by Tenshinhan (Initial) and perhaps Goku was referring to Karin, Tenshinan and Inoshikacho being stronger than him.

How strong do you have Inoshikacho compared to the Warriors of TB22?

Do you think it's okay?

Goku (TB22) = Inoshikacho> = Tenshinhan (TB22) = Tenshinhan (Debut) >>> Goku (Party Level) = Goku (Pre Inoshikacho) >>>>>>> Tenshinhan (Initial against Yamcha) = Tenshinhan (Debut / Initial)> Goku (Very hungry).

We must not forget that Inoshikacho had injuries from the burn he received, when he began training with Goku.

Yardrat SSJ Goku spared with Gohan and Piccolo, yet Goku still benefitted despite his partners being many times weaker.

A Goku far more skilled at harnessing and honing his Ki is a far different case from a one who improved from far more basic methods of strength building, not to mention Cell Arc Goku could always power down to base if necessary and later made a point to Gohan that it'd be most beneficial for their gains for Gohan to get on his level by unlocking SSJ.

If it was indeed a year before the 22nd TB, then it's hard to say as we aren't sure how much stronger than his post-Karin self Goku would be here. Considering Goku was still surprised at Tenshinhan's increases in effort, Inoshikacho's power probably is at best more or less on the level of Yamcha and Kuririn at the time.

CC, I got to thinking that you were surely right with your old belief about the powers of Tenshinhan and Inoshikacho in that filler.

The Tenshinhan that defeated Goku was probably just as Suppressed as he was at the start of TB22 and maybe Goku was too fatigued in that match.

I think that from there, the only one who progressed was Goku for having trained with Inoshikacho.

What do you think of what I say?
