How strong is Base Vegetto?

IMO: The Freeza vs Nail gap is much larger than the gap between Super Vegetto and Boohan. So logically, Vegetto shouldn't be no more than 10x stronger, which would look something like this:

Vegetto Super Saiyan - 800,000,000,000
Vegetto Base - 16,000,000,000

Goku Boo (Gohan-Absorbed) - 80,000,000,000

He's pretty weak.

You're right. I also forgot the part where Vegeta was in awe of SSJ2 Goku's power and considered it in a separate dimension from him. Guess I'll have to fix my lists to reflect SSJ2 Goku = initial Kid Boo >> Gohan Boo as well.

Toriyama is saying Dragonball is essentially both the Anime & the Manga, but it doesn't mean they follow the same continuity.

Yeah. The Garlic Jr. movie might be part of the anime canon due to the filler arc, but he already stated he saw the movies as being in "separate dimensions" from his story. Even the story of a character he made canon like Bardock differs between the anime and manga.

But since he couldn't take any risk, he transformed to be sure of his victory.

The implications suggest that the Potara fusion multiplies the higher battle power. The Old Kaioshin was talking to Kaioshin before and after the fusion, he wasn't using Kibito as the measuring stick. It is also illogical for it to amplify the lower power level, despite it far more effective than the Metamoran fusion -because depending on how low the battle power is, Old Kaioshins statement of it being more effective would then be considered a false pretense and Akira Toriyama has no reason to lie to us.

They are not equal.
