How strong is Future Cell?

All we can say for definite is that he was significantly stronger than his timeline's #17 and #18. Anything beyond that is assumptions, really.

Some believe he's comparable to his post-Gingertown self due to him displaying an aura that Gingertown Cell lacked, but I'd say this is quite a reach when it's not as though Cell had an opportunity to put it on full display in his fight with Piccolo.

It honestly doesn't seem that different from how his power up against Piccolo and #17 was shown to be initially.

Gingertown Cell didn't seem to make as much of an effort in showing off his power to Piccolo and, thus, there'd be far less reason for him to have his aura flaring after unleashing his Ki. Regardless, we know that Future Cell would at least be a fair bit stronger than Gingertown Cell anyway via scaling from Future #17 and #18, so there wouldn't necessarily be a reason to place him on the level of the Cell that fought #16 even if conceding on the aura when the benchmark for how much he needed to be above his Gingertown self for it to appear is vague at best.

Cell was being overwhelmed by weighted Kamiccolo and didn't flare up an aura or power up further. I see no reason to believe that wasn't his full power at the time.
