Yeah but is that really true? If he had an inkling of the saiyans or buu's true powers he'd have had them blow up the ship right away and release buu early.

I think Fat Buu being 2.5x SSJ2 Teen Gohan is nowhere contradicted. On the contrary, the battles
never implied a manyfold gap.
