How superior to Yamcha is Goku in the 21st?

When Chun starts dodging Yamcha's attacks effortlessly, Goku makes note of this and calls Chun awesome. Why would dodging Yamcha be an impressive feat whatsoever if Goku is wayyyyyy above Yamcha?

It's just that Goki think that Yamchu is still in his league also he can't sense BP yet.

Sensing battle power isn't necessary. Goku can tell how strong someone is based on their movements.

Probably because Goku thought Yamcha was exceptionally strong and it was surprising that there was another person so strong at the tournament.

I have a pretty large gap between them, as 2x or so. That was initial Jackie Chum, who Kuririn could still give troubles, even when not going all-out.

Yeah it's no different to how goku was impressed with tenshinhan in the 23rd and was leagues stronger himself.

Goku is at least as superior to yamcha as roshi was. They are practically equal at that point.

Good point, but I think Jackie was still using little effort there, maybe similar to tailless Goku's level of power.
