Taking all the filler out, what did you think of it and how well it translated-over as an anime?
I think they did decently well. The animation was 8, the voice-actors were good & the music fit well (i thought, even-though it might not have aged that well).
Even-though one thing, they probably didn't do well was making Goku look all-heroic at-times, even AT said he was never really fighting out of the goodness of his heart, but the anime made it seem that way sometimes, but probably for dramatic (heroic) purposes.
some of that they rly did well, like the gohan vs cell - khh struggle. that fight was rly EPIC.
