How would you have handled Super-Saiyan?

Kind-of similar to the thread DBZeta's version of the Comic-Book Guy did. Made this thread before on DBZF, but basically how would you have handled Super-Saiyan through-out the series?

What else I might do is:

Neither Goten nor Trunks get Super-Saiyan for sure. They are just kind-of powerful children, maybe in-fact slightly lower than the Adult's regular states. Their fusion however'd make them relevant and stronger than every or almost every un-fused character, including the Super-Saiyans.

Oh yeah, also if Goku dies on Namek that'd make sense for the Androids.

The androids'd still be lower than Super-Saiyan Goku & 100% Freeza, but since they are both dead, there is no hope.

Wouldn't make the androids over-kill like Dr. Gero made them in the series.

But maybe that'd be worse.
