I think GX is the best series...

...in terms of duels' quality (i'm talking about the mangas, because i haven't watched anime in ages).
-Original Yugioh was a mess with no rules.
-5DS and Zexal were contaminated by the Synchro/Numbers shit.

But, Yugioh GX duels were perfect. Coherent rules, limited to not at all use of haxed cards and duels that
remind of the good old Yugioh game, before they made it so complicated. Is it just me?

I haven't read the GX manga, but the original's version wasn't that bad in regards to rules during BC.

The Duelist Kingdom portion was published before the real world card game was created as its imitation, so the crazy rules are understandable.

GX was kind of bad to me. The stories weren't at all good. I don't mind Year 2 with the Society of Light thing, the Seven Stars was cool to but other than that just no. The whole alternate universe and Yubel thing for me dragged on and the last season was just bad. GX was to kiddie for me taste. It had cool characters: Aster Phoenix and Chazz the lead Jaden has a personality I like but he's just always so damn happy to the point where it's annoying. I know that changed in the last 2 seasons but Jaden didn't make an impression on me. Good duels in GX

Jaden vs. Kaibaman (Still somewhat Kaiba and I loved seeing Jaden get stomped)
Jaden vs. Aster Phoenix (Both Duels)
Jaden vs. Sartorious
Jaden & Aster Phoenix vs. Sarina
