The one present time-line, Trunks traveled to and came-back before being killed by 1st form Cell.

Nah, Trunks first travelled to a past time-line, so that time-line exists where I assume Trunks’ intervention saved every-one and then when he came back Cell defeated him, stole his time-machine and created main time-line.

Because Trunks was back in the Future after he helped. Arbitrarily naming them, I put that this way:

TL1 Trunks traveled to TL2 (the unseen one) to warn Goku & co., then he went back to TL1 and came back a year later to help-out. After helping-out he came-back to his TL (TL1), he was ambushed and defeated by TL1 Cell who went to the past too, but a year before (TL3). TL3 is main time-line. Through finding time-machine he decides to stay and train and also knows about Cell now, so he then goes back to future (TL4) and in that future he defeats Cell too.

Doesn’t even really have to be a movie about the Androids, even-though Cell awakening post-Boo-Saga could be interesting, but what happens after (and how) they defeated the Cyborgs.
