Curiously, yesterday this thought came to me, we know that there are 3 Physical Dimensions. It is said that the Fourth Dimension is Time, before I did not understand why, but now I do.
Each dimension has 2 sides:
1.- Down - Up.
2.- Right - Left.
3.- Back - Forward.
The Fourth Dimension would be Time and it has 2 sides: Before - After.
The difference between the Fourth Dimension and the 3 Physical Dimensions is that we can travel with some will in those 3D.
We can go down or up sometimes, we can turn to the right or the left, we can move backward or forward. On the other hand, we can not travel to the Past (Towards Before) and we constantly travel towards the Future (Towards the After).
In some stories of the World of Fiction, you can travel to the Past or the Future, with a Time Machine.
On the other hand, in Dragon Ball, the trips in Time are towards other Time Lines, instead of traveling along the same Timeline. We only know that Whis can travel 3 minutes into the Past, the Rings of Time can travel to the Future of their own Timeline or to another Timeline. That means that in DB, in some cases, you can travel to the Before and After (Fourth Dimension).
The Time Lines would be the Fifth Dimension, for example, what Future Trunks does when coming to the Original Timeline, not only travels to the Past (Before), but also travels to another Timeline. The Time Lines are Parallel, it is as if a single Timeline covers the 3 Physical Dimensions, plus the Dimension that we call Time. To the latter, we could call it "One-dimensional Time", because it is a simple 1-Dimension Line. If we talk about Temporary Lines, there would be the Second Dimension of Time and we could call it "Two-dimensional Time", because they are 2 Time Dimensions.
Therefore, in the World of DB there are 5 Dimensions, 3 Physical and 2 Time.
