In your opion, who is the best duelist Bastion Misawa could beat?

My opion isn't viable because I'm bias as hell when it comes to my favorites characters 2

I have only read GX manga. I don't think GX characters stand any chance against duelists of the original era, where cards were haxed like
hell.

I haven't watched much of GX and don't plan to. My knowledge doesn't extend far past this koala guy, the old man with the three beast cards and Alexis.

Bastion didn't really do a whole lot. I think he only won ONE onscreen duel. Compared to the original series I don't even know if he'd beat Weevil or Rex and that's saying something right there.

He's Weevil/Rex tier at best (their BC incarnations no less), and that's where he should be. He's a student, not an experienced duelist like the guys in DM. Not to mention GX started following the TCG rules/effects more closely, which stunted a lot of the power since they couldn't have as much hax as the previous generation where fucking anything went.

Hard to tell since Bastion uses six decks. His decks generally though seem to have a Water Dragon/Magnet Warrior theme to them. That said, I don't remember Bastion pulling off anything too impressive. The only thing I can really say about his dueling skills is that he's very calculating thinking out all his strategies turns in advance however he does have a tendency to over-calculate (like vs Jaden) or get distracted (like vs Tanya). In general he is descent for a duel academy student but I doubt he can win a national tournament like Weevil did.
