Anyone?
And Captain Tsubasa was very inspirational. To see children go from playing in their school-teams to eventually make it to the world-cup playing in opposing teams was great. And to see the new rivals they make in their new teams and things. Too bad I can't do that because I suck too hard.Captain Cadaver said:The anime was aired in my country (still might be iirc), but I never had any interest in it due to sports shows being highly unappealing even as a kid since most of them have zero stakes to victory or defeat and I could easily get more enjoyment from just playing football outside than watching a show about it.
Also, Captain Tsubasa was a better football/soccer series due to having realism to it's setting, despite having an equal lack of stakes and poor pacing.
