Is it possible Freeza (kicking away Vegeta's blast)=Freeza (warming up vs Goku)?

I know I'm the one who suggested that Freeza raised his power to his No Hands level to kick away Vegeta's blast, but now it occurred to me that when Piccolo revealed that both Goku and Freeza were still warming up, that was supposed to come across as a surprise to the reader. So is it possible Freeza deflected the blast with his warming up power after all?

I think Freeza was putting out more power during his warm up vs. Goku than anything he showed before, including kicking away Vegeta's blast.

Freeza (Kicking Away Blast) > Freeza (Speed Up) > Freeza Initial

Vs Goku

Freeza (No Hands) > Freeza (Warm Up ) > Freeza Initial


I'd say Freeza Initial is the same against Vegeta and Goku. Freeza Warm Up should be around Freeza Kicking Away Blast Level.

That's where we've had him for a while now. It's what makes sense.

I think the most likely scenario is

Warm up = Kick = Speed up

Don’t assume a power up unless it’s absolutely needed.

It might not be necessary, but everyone is shocked by it including Vegeta. They could have just been underestimating Freeza though.

They tend to underestimate all the time.

Well it’s one of two options either Piccolo misread his power or cell powered up

Best take should be he was desperate and willing to do anything even if it doesn't work.

Plus, it was a shock for Ten see that, as well as No. 18 was surprised of hearing it didn't do any damage, scene goes onto show Cell have gotten way too strong for anything Piccolo could accomplish.
