When he wants to be? He seems compotent sometimes, and just seems to jump to conclusions more than trying to find-out the real truth, if he didn't have that problem and would try to look more for evidence (like searching for it, like Conan does and instead of trying to justify anything and everything, questioning strange things like Conan does) he could be as good as maybe even Conan.

Yeah, Conan usually solves the cases, but cases that are personal to him he tries really hard and can usually solve them himself, with maybe a little bit of help from Conan.

Like the class re-union case. Other-wise he just seems to want to get the case over with fast, without really trying to un-cover the truth because I guess he doesn't like to spend much time on them, l0l.
