has any1 here played it? it seems that ppl like this game a-lot & it also'd give me a way of playing the game without wasting money on a-lot of cards (with even some advantages as opposed to the real card-game, i think).

if u can, can u plz say whether the game is good to play? :gay :gay2 :gay :gay2 :gay :gay2

With all of my immense wisdom and knowledge, I have compiled 30 hours of research on your behalf. After studying this game in depth, and debating it's qualities and shortcomings with other experts, I came to the firm conclusion that I don't know.

It's better than cashing in the money to buy the cards for a good deck imo. I've only seen let's plays of Legacy of the Duelist but from what I've seen, it lets you choose between story decks and decks of your own, among other things. What kind of sucks is that unlike Duel Links or Duelist of the Roses, the monster cards don't have holographic images above them, but seeing as this is a western game, the laziness is to be expected :troll

My cousin has the game. From what I've seen of the gameplay, it's good as a simulation of the TCG which can help you get ideas for building your own irl deck, though now banned cards being fine to use makes it not foolproof in that area. It's still a fine way to play the game if not having the money for the precise cards necessary for you deck and just wanting to test things out, though a lot of the online Yu-Gi-Oh TCG sites are better in that regard.

For the most part, they don't. The holograms do appear when using some signature cards in the attack phase such as Dark Magician as Yugi or Blue Eyes as Kaiba, though other than that it's pretty standard in terms of visuals.

Yeah I'm aware that most ace monsters have attack animations, but Duel Links has summoning scenes for key cards as well as holographic images (even if they're just the card's art) floating above the cards.
