Is Oob Chappa's son?

I believe in the manga they never showed Oob's background.

Both Chappa and Mr Satan have afros and both are martial arts tournament masters. Chappa was very relevant back in the day, but never made an appearance again after being beaten twice. They are both revered heavily while Satan is revered materialistically and Chappa is revered spiritually by his students.

Maybe Oob is Chappa similar to how Bibidi is apparently Babidi.

On the contrary, there are a lot of implification so that Gohan is actually Yamcha's son

Also since Goku has his own grand-child at the end of DragonBall Z, it's more likely if they were related for Oob to be his grand-son or something.
