Is there even such a thing as a fusion multiplier?

About SSJ, it makes sense to produce some multiplier, since, when AT invented it, he at least had a rough idea
himself about where it stands (with 20x Base Goku being close to Half Freeza). But, when he created fusions, he
didn't have any formula in his mind, he just made the fused warriors as strong as the plot needed.
So, to go for an in universe explanation, i think the fusion boost depends not just on the fused powers, but on
the two individuals in general, on every trait of them. It's like when a man and a woman fuck and have a child.
The result will be based on the two parents' genes, but the factor of randomness is also present, so you never
know for sure what you will get.

Yeah, real fusion multipliers are unrealistic. At the end of the day the fusion is as strong as it needs to be, trying to trestrain it to a specific multiplier is impossible.

Of course not

The fusions were only ever as strong as the plot demanded, trying to shoehorn math into it to make them all work is impossible.

The only real rule is the stronger the fusees the stronger the fusion imo

There doesnt have to be. You can just make plot your multiplier

All kinds of boosts are plot-related if you ask me. Even the SSJ was drawn with a 10 times boost in mind (despite the fact that a boost twice as strong didn't work against Frieza).

The fusion is depend on two individuals power, abilities and potential in order to produce a powerful warrior. Multiplier is bullshit post Freeza arc.

I don't see an issue with a standard fusion multiplier. It depends on a few of the key factors though.
