How did you feel as you were drawing the final portions of the series?
So before the Boo story arc began, I said “Once this next thing wraps up, I want to end it no matter what.” Because I thought there was no way for any stronger guys to pop up, or for Goku to get any stronger than he already was.

continuation of the manga when it was in serialization.

Anyway, I re-read the work for the first time in ages,

Beerus
Even more fun than that Saiyan on north Kais planet.

To sum it up, Super doesn't have to change anything within the Manga for it to alter our ideas and interpretations of it. It simply rehashes Toriyama's original train of thought. So when a blatant suggestion of Goku being the strongest amongst the group (Ultimate Gohan included), than it's simply just that.

Goku did not increase in strength from the Boo Saga and couldn't have. Yet he's still regarded as the strongest by Beerus.

Now before you respond, take a chill pill and please do so in a reasonable and respectful manner.

Your theory dies when you underline both parts of the quote, such as "no way for any stronger guys to pop up"

Your theory doesn't discredit mine. Your theory is a fallacy at best, and a desperate stretch to discredit what I have brought to the table.

Your theory is imaginary at best. As i never displayed a table to put it on.

That's why I put it here, to discuss.

wasn’t until immediately before the final chapter that I thought up the ending. I needed something that would signal this truly was the end, so I jumped forward ten years… But I didn’t count on the series continuing in anime form.

Toriyama never intended to have any stronger characters during the Manga's serialization, but things changed as the series moved forward. However, that doesn't mean the original intention of Goku changed. He was clearly intended to be the strongest by the merits of said evidence above.

Really? Are you sure?
Yuppers.

As for the thread, it's a well known fact Toriyama makes things up as he goes along. He's even states so. Additionally, Goku becoming stronger than he previously was is stated by the author as being an invalid sense of reasoning and no evidence supports the notion. Therefore, nothings changed.

Arguing that because Toriyama moved the story along and introduced stronger characters discredits it, is kind of silly.
