Orewa = I am

O (at-least when placed after name, not sure on its own) = King

Oto-San = Father/Dad

Densetsu = Legendary (might mean Legend, too)

Nani = What (in a surprised kind of way)

Bakana = Impossible

Oi = OK/Right

There might be some more, but I can't remember. Good aren't I?

Densetsu means legend. Densetsu no, though, means legendary ("of legend")

kewl

I didn't figure that. I might have caught that at some point.

Thank you for the correction, though.

Had a spelling error there, fixed it. The word "Baka" means idiot. "na" comes from the fact that it is what is known as a "na-adjective" in Japanese.

Oi is closer to "Hey", or simply just Oi as many English speaking areas substitute for the latter (eg. Australia and some parts of England). A closer equivalent to Ok/Right would be "Hai" or "Osu".

Yeah, I've heard hai, too I think. I can't remember exactly, but Oi definitely was used in that way, too, I think. At-least when I saw it.

I leanrned the word 'nani' from HNK.
That's not really surprising, considering how common it is, especially in most action series wherein events don't transpire as a character plans.

Also @SHC, I'm surprised you didn't include any of the common Japanese nouns within the series. For example "Kame" (Turtle), "Tsuru" (Crane), "Kami" (God), etc.

Actually I don't watch Japanese dub anime. I'm a fan of HnK but there's no english dub on youtube hence I just watch it on Jap dub.
