Jozu vs Katakuri

Katakuri wins due to top tier Kenbunshoku Haki as well as his mochi making him a very difficult opponent. Jozu only seems to excel when it comes to fighting those who rely on brute force, considering how easily Doflamingo was able to gain control of him.

Didn’t Doflamingo catch him co platelet off guard though? Considering he was able to take hits from Admirals/Mihawk , I don’t think it’s fair to use that off guard feat to downplay him.

I agree that his strength is impressive, or at least his durability, though his overall fighting capability doesn't seem to lie beyond brute force. Katakuri's far from the best opponent for him to handle, seeing as how you need amazing Kenbunshoku Haki to counter his dodges and his mochi could be utilised effectively enough to take Luffy out of his Boundman form.

Would he even be able to damage Jozu’s diamond form though? If Mihawk was unable to scratch him, I can’t see Katakuri doing any better..

Probably not, though Jozu would have no way of countering Katakuri's mochi restricting his movements and would most likely wear himself down somewhat through struggling with it.
