Kaio vs Kaioshin sensing abilities

So we see Kaio using his antenna to be able to see far off worlds and also sense ki on those worlds. Are Kaioshin also capable of doing this? We see Kaioshin being aware of the extinction of humanity, but do his abilities function the same way as Kaio's?

Hard to say. It's clear Shin's ancestor has incredible telepathy with him being able to view Earth from the Kaioshinkai even when sealed in the Z-Sword, but how much of that is his Kaioshin abilities and how much is the witch's magic is very questionable. Shin is pretty much a novice by Kaioshin standards, so capabilities should be treat as the low-end of Kaioshin skills. Their telepathy probably work pretty similarly in practice though, both seemingly needing to focus on an area of the universe to view it considering their gaps in knowledge when it came to the Cell Arc.
