I know this is a fairly old topic with not much evidence or reasoning to really accurately gauge, but I'm still posting this anyway. :mikey

Do most people still believe he's weaker than SS2 Vegeta? I'd like to think he could at least be closer to SS3 Goku and Pure Boo. Sure he didn't stay to fight but if he's not strong enough to do anything and an incompetent fighter, why would he?

Even if he can't go toe-to-toe with Boo on his own, I'd think he'd stick around if his power was still at a level he could provide the Saiyans support against Boo, especially when he has techniques that would prove valuable support if he indeed had the strength to back them up.

Other than that, there's not really anything supporting him being above SS2 Vegeta. He gets confident in his newfound strength, yet his ancestor immediately tells him he's still worthless. The closest thing to evidence in favour of Kibitoshin being semi-relevant is Rou-Dai Kaioshin bringing up the notion of Boo absorbing him, yet that's vague at best when Boo absorbed Dai Kaioshin when near enough a similar distance in power to that between Kibitoshin and Gotenks Boo and the implication of it being about strength would make little sense unless you believe Kibitoshin is on par with SS3 Gotenks/Ultimate Gohan, unless the concern was purely due to Kibitoshin's techniques at which point the notion of this being a power statement is made invalid.

I'd think if he was at least that strong he would have remained with Goku/Vegeta in a healing role. Considering Boo was only targeting one of them at a time, he would have been able to do that at the least and likely avoid getting absorbed. Boss Kaio pretty much shut down his idea and told him that it was nonsense. I just don't see it.

Although I have Kaioshin being fairly powerful in his own, I do not think Kibitoshin powered up a lot from that, for the reasons SSJ2 pointed out. Unless Old Kaioshin was just worried about saving his deity ass to go by the book or something, after all even with the stakes that high he still opposed reviving the Earthlings to help.
