Kid Goku (beginning of DB) vs Bacterian

Bacterian still ought to win. Yamcha should be stronger than this Goku by the time of the 21st TB, yet still held Bacterian's strength as something to revere. Goku would probably still provide him a tough fight due to his better martial arts skill, small build and Nyoibo (if he's armed with it).

Well, I'd say it'd also make sense for Yamcha to praise someone of Goku's former level. Goku also offered praise to Yamcha's abilities when seeing how easy Jackie Chun was dealing with him and that's coming from someone who was previously noticeably ahead Yamcha.

Yamcha: “H-he’s a tough one! He’s got fearsome physical strength! But even more fearsome is his ultra bad smell. It’s said he’s never bathed in his life…! His extreme stench makes people hold their nose without even thinking about it. This prevents his opponents from using their arms, leaving them vulnerable to his attacks…!”
Describing him as fearsome seems to go a bit beyond offering mild praise, wouldn't you say? Bacterian also endured a full power kick from Kuririn, something worth noting with how apparent Galu makes their training gains out to be.

Even immune to the stench, I doubt Goku could pull off a win here. Yamcha was willing to call his strength fearsome despite fighting several times with BoDB Goku. If Bacterian was weaker than a version of Goku who Yamcha surpassed, using the word fearsome wouldn't make a whole lot of sense.

Bacterian wins with mild difficulty at best. Yamcha held his strength in high regard and he remained conscious after getting hit by a serious kick from a Krillin who was many times stronger than BoDB Goku.
