Gohan still wins. He fought to a draw with Kefla and I don't think Trunks can overcome that even under 3 years of Whis' tutelage. I dunno for certain tho, it's kinda of a shot in the dark guess.

I'd say Trunks takes it. It's difficult to say how long Goku and Vegeta have fully trained under Whis considering they're shown primarily training on Earth after the Universe 6 tournament, but it's definitely been less than 3 years. Trunks has far more natural talent than them considering what he's done at his age and should be at least close to Gohan in that area. Considering Gohan's power was the result of less than 2 days of training with Piccolo, there's no reason to believe 3 years with Whis wouldn't allow Trunks to catch up and surpass him pretty easily.

Keep in mind that, based on the image in the OP, this is probably referring to Anime Gohan who's only SSB tier. Then again, Anime Super characters have far more impressive feats and bloated scaling than their manga selves, so it's hard to say whether or not that's actually more impressive.
