^That's what the Daiz says, and nothing outright contradicts it.

I'd say it's debatable that King Vegeta's even above 10k, since the statement of Bardock rivalling the King was dub-exclusive. The only proof I'd see for it is him being an elite whilst Nappa is just mid class according to recent material. Still, I'd like to keep the King's power as minimal as possible, since it seems ridiculous for Vegeta to gain little more than a 50% increase or so from over 2 decades of battle.

Anyway, Gohan takes this imo.

The King could be at 8 or 9k and still be an elite. Besides, Nappa having little increase could be down to him already having reached his prime, whereas Vegeta was still obviously growing.

He was never in the manga, IIRC. He was only shown in filler.

Even-though AT did do the design for him, I believe.

Obviously he existed, but maybe differently than we knew.

Well, he is mentioned as Vegeta's father, the king, who Freeza defeated when he attacked the Saiyans and wiped them out. Toriyama did design his face and had no issues with his depiction in Battle of Gods which he incorporated into his manga canon, so I wouldn't consider him tottttttttally non-canon.

He's mentioned, I think. So his name is canon but not his appearance. I accept them as one in the same anyway, if I’m being honest.
