Above, below, or dead even with Vegeta? My heart says slightly below, but that's only because it's Kiwi, and he's a squishy mofo.

I'd be willing to say slightly above, or even at worst. He was aware of Vegeta's 18,000 power level and was confident in taking him on.

I can't deny that. My brain just can't fathom if Kiwi showed up on Earth instead of Vegeta, that the results would be the similar. It's probably just his annoying face.

Vegeta has his transformation.

If that's not counted then I'd put em equal or Cui stronger. We never got to see Cui's strategy or special attacks. For all we know he could have some a beam that raises his BP or some piercing or cutting attack, so we can't say Veggie would win because of skills, even though Veggie has got dem skills (apart from when he spams weak ki attacks like an idiot). Reason Kiwi might be stronger is that Cui talked mad shit to Vegeta if I remember correctly but Veggie didnt do shit. Dont remember if this was only due to the location or because Veggie wasnt confident that he coud hanabe him yet.

Good points. Oozaru is probably the only thing that kept a lot of the Freeza Force from messing with him even more. That, and he was Freeza's pet.

Well, he stated himself to be equal, and judging by his freakout when he realized he was actually inferior at the time, coupled with his complete confidence at first, I'd say dead even at best.

He is above in my opinion just judging by his posture

But he hadn't used his scouter on Vegeta since the latter had returned from Earth and without that he had no way of knowing that Vegeta had gained power, so I don't think you can look at this as indication that Cui was prone to underestimating his opponents or overestimating himself.

@SG yeh I think I remember he was resented for being one of Freeza's favourites of sorts. I wonder if everyone knew about his transformation though. Did Cui even notice that Vegeta's tail was gone when he messed with him? Same goes for Dodoria and Zarbon. Hell, even the Ginyu force were weaker than his transformation but I guess in their case they were far removed from him prior to Namek.

I should've said at worst, not at best. He proved himself to be a coward when weaker.

Kiwi believed Vegeta weakened. That was the only reason he thought he could defeat him, but he sure was wrong.

Kiwi
-Full Power 18,000

Vegeta
-Suppressed 16,000
-Full Power 24,000

Because it isn't stated that they believed that.

Chapter: 248 (DBZ 54), P14.2-5
Context: More of Kui mistakenly thinking Vegeta’s power has declined.
Kui: “Looks like you’ve gotten worse. With that battle power, you have no chance of winning.”
