I can't see Piccolo having as much trouble with Drum as he did with Krillin. To put it simply, Goku literally broke Drum with physical hits, something that only gets replicated (as far as I remember) with Gohan and the Cell Jrs. This Piccolo is even stronger than Piccolo was back then, who himself was on Goku's level. There's just too much of a huge gap there imo.

Also Krillin was the person who made Piccolo realise taking over the world wouldn't be easy, surely that'd place him above Goku 3 years ago?

Nah, I don't think Krillin or Yamcha surpassed Young Daimao or post-Water Goku. I think they're close, but still a step or two behind.

I don't think Piccolo's comment necessitates Krillin being stronger than post-Water Goku.

Drum is way, way too weak to compare to anyone at the 23rd Budokai. 23rd Budokai powers are all King Piccolo level, which completely dwarfs anything before it.

Without a doubt. Although Goku wasn't taking Chi Chi seriously in their match, Goku having to use an effort at all to dodge suggests Chi CHi is a serious beast. Drum is absolute garbage. Yajirobe should be able to handle Drum I would think and he didn't even make the finals.

Power Levels are not bullshit; the numbers given in Raditz's arrival are BS, but Dragon Ball revolves around battle power. Every moment in Dragon Ball has everything to do with battle powers.

Power Levels are not bullshit; the numbers given in Raditz's arrival are BS, but Dragon Ball revolves around battle power. Every moment in Dragon Ball has everything to do with battle powers.

Without any BP numbers, the strength of the characters were made clear. No, DB clearly doesn't depend on it. Proof : the BP mostly appeared only in two sagas. And of course it is : Goku should be far stronger than 400, so Raditz should be far stronger than 1200+ and so on.

Besides, Base Goku fared better than Dodoria against Vegeta with a higher gap for example.

Battle powers are essentially everything in DBZ. There is a lot of inaccurate reading of how strong someone is, but strength is generally the one and only thing that matters. There a few occasions this isn't true, but in general it's all about battle power.

Agreed p123. I think I'll try to do battle powers of Dragon Ball completely ignoring the scouters. Goku ( 416 ) being only 3x stronger than Roshi ( 139 ) is insane ...

Yea I mean at the 23rd Budokai Goku is most likely 3x stronger than Tien let alone Roshi.
