Mostly because everything seems to imply that Kuririn had no chance either-way. Like Master-Roshi's comment that it was an opponent who could take even Kuririn out. He might have been tired, but it probably wouldn't have made a difference on the out-come of the fight.

Well I believe he would have still lost, but maybe not have been killed by one rather light kick to the head. He might have even survived. Heck, even the announcer-sama managed to stay alive. I was surprised when this happened, especially so early in the season. Now I know there are going to bring him back, but it appears it will be some time before that happens, so it still means something.

Wait, you didn't know what happened at Early DB?

Never saw it. Watching the Piccolo-Dameao arc for the first time. I mean, I knew Krillin had died in the past because they make mention of it in Z, I just never watched it go down.
