If any of you guys have a decent understanding of his fruit, could you try to explain the main uses and abilities of it? I'm struggling to remember.

 

[Captain Cadaver]

- Expert surgical abilities, allowing him to heal most conditions.
- Can bypass conventional durability to some extent with Gamma Knife (almost killed Doflamingo by stabbing through his organs)
- Can swap around the body parts of foes who enter his Room with Shambles. This most likely only works on those with Haki lower than his though, considering he didn't put it to use against Vergo or Doffy.
- Can make somebody immortal via surgery at the cost of the user's life.

Those are some of the main uses, anyway.

Room/Shambles I always had trouble understanding. Why does separating all of those marines in half not kill them on Punk Hazard? I don't understand his offensive powers with Room. I agree probably only works on lower Hali fighters though.

I wonder if the immortality will ever be used.

I think Law can probably control whether his opponent lives or dies. Them still being alive still doesn't make much sense, but OP is to scientific accuracy as is to consistency.

Also forgot to add him being able to switch around people's consciousness/soul from one body to another like Ginyu on steroids.

The immortality thing I could see being used to counter Kaidou somehow, given the Yonko's hype as being unkillable. Most likely, he'll use it on Luffy and there'll be some level of hyperbole to the information so that Luffy isn't completely immortal. Maybe it'll be a regeneration factor or the effects have never been tested against the force of a Yonko's power, making it little more than a power up against top tiers.

How did he do the body switching stuff? I can't imagine that working on higher tier enemies like Yonkos, or lower commanders even.. His abilities sound too OP to be true.

It's part of his use of Shambles. I imagine it'd therefore be limited to those under his level of Haki, given the strongest character it was used against was Sanji (or Smoker, but he was KO'd when it was used on him). Alternatively, it could be that those who're aware of the ability's extent can plan accordingly to make it ineffective, hence why he never tried it against Vergo or Doflamingo.
