Legendary Beasts vs. Swords of Justice

Which trio (exclude Keldeo) is better? It can be because of stat distribution, move pools, or just opinion on design.

Design wise I though all of them kind of lame. I've caught the legendary beast but I've never really used any of them barring Suicune. Hell I traded Entei and Raiku not long after I caught them. The Swords of Justice I've never caught but they do look as if they'd be good to use in battle. You only have a handful of fighting pokemon I'd use so I'd imagine some legendaries of the same type would be beastly. But I'll go with the Legendary Dogs because I actually do like Suicune and Gen II is my favorite generation of Pokémon.

The Legendary Beasts look wayyyyyy nicer aesthetically in my opinion. I'd choose them any day.

The Swords are gay.

The swords are garbage. The only ones I can even remember are Keldeo, the grass one and the rock one. The latter of which is because Slayer used it for his avatar lol

Design-wise: The Legendary Beasts by a mile, especially Raikou.

Usefulness-wise: Haven't used either competitively, though I'd be inclined to say the Swords due to their dual typing giving them better potential for variety in moves and STAB.

Where did the term Legendary Dogs come from? That's what I know the beasts as for some reason.

Fan term. Like Semi-Perfect Cell, or Mystic Gohan.

and quite frankly the beasts are better even if the tier rankings are not the be all end all, they just have better sets and usefulness imo

Terrakon is the most useful competitively. I see Raikou a lot, and am a heavy Entei user myself. Honestly Entei is OP as fuck I'm surprised it's used so little.
