Luffy represents Cosmic Order while Blackbeard represents Cosmic Chaos. How did I come to this conclusion?

1. Luffy represents the "virtuous" monk archetype. He represents oneness.

2. Blackbeard represents the "malevolent" monk archetype. He represents nothingness.

Both of them use universal laws and Blackbeard inverts them. This dichotomous relationship they share is illustrated in the pie-eating scene. One of them liked it and the other disliked it.

Imu, though, doesn't have a philosophically meaningful existence. What he represents is a monster born from hate. In terms of cosmic relevance, he has no anchoring concept.

If you think about it, Davy Jones was a World King. He was likely ruling the ancient kingdom before Imu destroyed it. Joyboy wasn't ruling it because Emeth said he didn't become "King". The Void Century ended with Joyboy's defeat, and Joyboy's enemy was the World Government, but it wasn't stated he was the ancient kingdom's leader. If Davy Jones ruled the world at that time, then it's possible he ruled with a philosophy of Cosmic Chaos as a predecessor of Blackbeard, and Imu was fighting against oppression by the ancient kingdom.

If the virtuous monk represents ultimate selflessness, then the malevolent monk represents profound corruption. Simply put, the malevolent monk is an evil monk.

Explaining Blackbeard's nothingness being more meaningful than Imu's hate requires me describing why the ancient kingdom's great ideals were dangerous and why his actions are just another generic utopia dream, but I am going to avoid that discussion.
